L.E.E.D.® class
L.E.E.D.® has been called "the world's biggest green-building brand name". There is a class action suit agianst the USGBC, the US Green Building Council™, for deceiving consumers about whether L.E.E.D.® buildings use less energy than conventionally-built buildings, and whether L.E.E.D.® buildings are "verified" to meet their environmental standards, as they claim, or whether they grant approval to any project that will pay the fees. Overdraft fees now account for 25% of big bank revenue, according to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Big banks made $38.5 billion from overdraft fees in 2009, up from $18 billion in 1999. J.P. Morgan Chase Bank maximizes overdraft fees by re-sequencing the order in which you made purchases from largest to smallest so that you are charged overdraft fees even when you had the funds available at the time of purchase. If you deposit with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank and you think you paid overdraft fees on purchases even when you had the available balance, we want to hear from you. Match.com creates the illusion, through an array of deceptive statements and graphics, that its members are online and can be reached. In fact 90% of Match members can't be reached, and have either cancelled or never subscribed to Match at all. There is no way to tell which profiles are current and which cancelled years ago. In order to be anything but misleading, Match would have to disclose to the consumer that "We have 15 million members, but over 90% can't be reached, and you can't tell which ones can and which ones can't be reached; even though we say "Receiving e-mail is free," actually members can't read the e-mails you send without paying $39.99 to subscribe; the profiles are on display forever, even if they cancelled years ago, or died, this way there's more profiles for you to "choose from."
